Superyacht AV and Yacht Audio Installation in the UK
Warwick Audio Visual is a UK marine AV installer, designing and installing superyacht AV, yacht audio systems and boat entertainment systems, from marine-grade deck speakers to salon cinemas, TV lifts, Control4 control and on-board Wi-Fi. We work with owners, captains, refit yards and designers on new installations and on upgrades during refits.
The approach is the same one we use in high-end homes: a clear design up front, products chosen for the space, tidy installation and a system that is simple to use every day. On a boat, the products also have to stand up to salt, sun, damp and movement, so we specify marine-rated kit from the start.
Marine audio: Sonance Mariner and James Loudspeaker
We favour Sonance and James Loudspeaker for marine work, and as an authorised dealer for both we can specify and supply the right models for your boat. The Sonance Mariner MX range is a surface-mounted outdoor speaker with an IP66 rating, available in black or white, and Sonance tests it for humidity, salt spray, temperature and UV. James Loudspeaker has built speakers for the superyacht industry for many years. Its marine-grade models use aircraft-grade aluminium enclosures, a heavy powder coat and coated 316 stainless hardware, and almost any James model can be ordered in a marine ('M') version. That covers slim on-wall and wedge speakers for decks and PowerPipe subwoofers that hide in the joinery.
Yacht audio for the deck, flybridge and aft deck
Sound outside has to be even across the whole deck, not loud in one corner. We plan speaker positions around seating, the sun pads, the bar and the swim platform, then tune the system so music flows from the salon onto the deck at a comfortable level. We can also zone it, so guests on the flybridge are not listening to the same thing as the crew aft.
Boat entertainment systems: salon, cabins and cinemas
Inside, the speakers should almost disappear. Sonance's marine in-ceiling and invisible options can sit behind leather, timber or fabric linings. We design salon TVs, motorised TV lifts, owner's cabin systems and dedicated cinema or media lounges, built to cope with movement, vibration and the limited space behind yacht panels.
Control4, Wi-Fi at sea and one simple remote
A yacht should be as easy to use as a well-run home. With Control4, owners, guests and crew can run audio, TV, lighting and shading from one app or a handheld remote. A solid on-board network is the foundation. We design Wi-Fi coverage through steel and composite hulls and integrate the vessel's existing connectivity, such as marina, 4G/5G or satellite links from your connectivity provider, so streaming, Sonos and control work reliably.
Yacht AV installation at UK marinas and refit yards
We are based near Kenilworth in Warwickshire and travel to vessels at marinas and refit yards around the UK. A refit is often the best time to upgrade AV, because cable routes and ceiling panels are already open. We work alongside the yard's own trades and electricians, survey the existing system, and can propose a phased upgrade if the boat needs to stay in use between stages.
How we work

FAQs
Do you install AV on boats as well as superyachts?
Yes. We design and install AV on yachts and boats of different sizes, from a few deck speakers and a TV to fully integrated Control4 systems.
Which speakers do you recommend for a yacht deck?
We usually specify Sonance Mariner MX or marine-grade James Loudspeaker models, which are built for salt air, UV and moisture. The exact model depends on the space, mounting and finish.
Can you work on my boat during a refit?
Yes. Refits are an ideal time to upgrade cabling, speakers and screens, and we coordinate with the yard and other trades.
Can you improve Wi-Fi on board?
Yes. We design on-board Wi-Fi networks and integrate them with the connectivity your vessel already uses, so streaming and control work throughout the boat.
Do you travel to marinas outside the Midlands?
Yes, we travel to marinas and refit yards around the UK. Tell us where the vessel is and we will arrange a survey.
