A real cinema room isn't a big TV in a dark room. The picture, the sound, the acoustics, the seating and the lighting are designed together, then calibrated, so it sounds and looks right from every seat.

We design, install and calibrate cinema rooms for homes across Warwickshire, Solihull, Coventry and the Cotswolds: a converted spare room, a basement, an outbuilding or a purpose-built room in a new build. One team handles it from the first drawing to handover.

What's Included in a Warwick AV Home Cinema

There are no off-the-shelf packages. Every room is designed around its size, its shape and how you'll use it. A typical cinema includes:

• 4K laser projection, or a large screen in a smaller room

• Dolby Atmos or DTS:X surround sound, with speakers hidden behind fabric or in the ceiling

• Acoustic treatment on walls and ceiling

• Motorised blackout blinds linked to the lighting

• Raked seating or recliner cinema chairs

• Control4, so one button dims the lights, closes the blinds and starts the film

Designed With Your Architect and Interior Designer

The best rooms are planned before the walls are closed. Getting cabling, conduit, ventilation and acoustic preparation right early makes a real difference to both performance and cost. We work directly with architects, interior designers, builders and electricians, and give them drawings they can build to.

Seating, Lighting and the Finishing Touches

We supply cinema seating through Habitech, including the Moovia range, from single chairs to rows of four, manual or motorised. You can try the seats at Habitech’s Basingstoke showroom by appointment. With Lutron lighting and Control4, one press of “Cinema” sets the whole room.

Home Cinema FAQs

How much does a home cinema cost?

It depends on the size of the room, the equipment and how much acoustic work is needed. Tell us your budget at the free consultation and we'll show you what it can achieve.

Do I need a dedicated room?

No. We also install cinema systems in living rooms, outbuildings, lofts and basements. A dedicated room gives the most control over light and sound, but a multi-purpose room or a media wall can still work very well.

When should I get in touch during a build or renovation?

As early as you can, ideally at design stage, before walls are closed. We're happy to work directly with your architect or builder.

Can the cinema work with the rest of my smart home?

Yes. We link cinemas to Control4 and Lutron, so pressing "Cinema" on your remote or app dims the lights, closes the blinds, turns on the projector and starts your film.

Can I try the seats first?

Yes. Our seating comes through Habitech, and you can see the range at their Basingstoke showroom.
