What we install

Home cinema rooms. A dedicated room, planned around the space you have. A typical room includes 4K laser projection or a large screen, Dolby Atmos or DTS:X sound, acoustic treatment, blackout blinds linked to the lighting, and cinema seating. We specify from brands including Sony, JVC, Barco, Trinnov, Anthem, Krix and Monitor Audio. See our home cinema page and cinema seating.

Control4 smart home control. Lighting, heating, audio, video and cameras run from one app, one remote or a wall panel. A Control4 system can be small, say a lounge and kitchen, or cover the whole house. Read about Control4 smart homes.

Lighting and shading. Lutron smart lighting and Lutron shading for lights and blinds that work together.

Wi-Fi and CCTV. A cinema or smart home needs a solid network. We design Wi-Fi and fit CCTV so the whole system sits on one network and one app.

How a project works

  1. Consultation. We talk through how you use the house and what you want to change.
  2. Design. You get a written proposal with equipment, room layout and cable routes. If you have an architect, builder or interior designer, we work with them.
  3. Installation. Our own engineers do the work at times that suit your household, and we test every source, screen and speaker before sign-off.
  4. Handover. We show you how it works and leave you with clear instructions.
  5. Support. Standard Care and Premium Care plans cover health checks, updates and priority support.

Close to home

Balsall Common is about 3 miles from our base and Berkswell about 4. Knowle is about 6 miles, Dorridge about 7, and Hampton-in-Arden about 8. Most of these drives take 15 minutes or less. That matters for a smart home, because systems need tweaking after the first few weeks of use, and a short drive makes those visits easy.

In older houses, cable routes need planning at the survey stage, not on the day. In new builds and extensions we can plan the cabling before the plaster goes on.

We have installed a Control4 system in Tanworth-in-Arden: an 8-channel NVR for CCTV, Philips Hue lighting, 4K video and guest Wi-Fi, all controlled together. Read the Tanworth-in-Arden project. Our customer reviews mention the home systems and the maintenance contract. Rated 4.9 out of 5 from 44 Google reviews.

Questions we get asked

Do I need a dedicated room for a home cinema?

No. A dedicated room gives the best sound and picture, because we can control light and acoustics. We also install cinema systems in living rooms and media walls. We will tell you honestly what the space will allow.

Can you add Control4 to a house that is already built?

Yes. Where cabling is hard to reach, we can use wireless devices for some parts of the system. We will explain the trade-offs at the survey.

Do you work with architects and builders?

Yes. Early involvement means cabling and equipment space are planned before walls close up.

What if something goes wrong after the install?

Call 01926 934612. Support plan customers get priority help, and Premium customers get a 48-hour on-site response for critical issues.
