Solihull offices

Larger, modern offices have a typical pattern: several floors, many rooms, a corporate IT team and a set of standards that every room must meet. Smaller firms may share a serviced or flexible office, where meeting rooms are used by people who have never seen the equipment before.

We think about both types, and each calls for something different:

  • Corporate offices want the same hardware, the same control layout and the same support in every room. We work with your IT team on accounts, networks and room-booking, and standardise the kit so there is one way to start a call.
  • Serviced and flexible offices need rooms that anyone can use in thirty seconds. BYOD works well here: plug in one cable, or connect wirelessly, and the room's camera, microphones and screen are ready.
  • Client-facing rooms need to look tidy as well as work well. We hide cables and keep the equipment simple.
  • Training rooms need good sound for a larger group and easy sharing for presenters.

What we install

Meeting rooms. From a video-bar huddle room to a ten-person room with ceiling microphones. See meeting rooms and video conferencing.

Boardrooms. Tracking cameras, flush speakers, echo cancellation and one touch panel for the call, lights and blinds.

Screens and walls. Digital signage for reception and LED video walls for larger spaces.

Network and racks. Network services, structured cabling and tidy racks.

Planning. An AV consultancy review if you have a lot of rooms and want a plan before buying.

Room booking and tidy rooms

Where many people share a number of rooms, extras help. We can fit room-booking panels outside the door, show meetings from Outlook or Google Calendar on the panel and add occupancy sensors, so that empty rooms switch off. These features are not essential, but in a busy office they save time and make the rooms easier to run.

Working with your IT team

Many Solihull firms have an IT department or an outsourced provider. We are happy to work with them. We discuss network requirements, accounts and security up front, so that nothing surprises anyone on the day. If you would like us to maintain the rooms, support plans cover health checks, updates and priority help.

Premium Care includes a 48-hour on-site response for critical issues. We can also support systems we did not install.

Project steps

  1. A survey of every room.
  2. A written proposal with equipment and layouts.
  3. Installation by our own engineers, in the evening or at weekends if that suits you.
  4. Commissioning and staff training.
